Have you been to Revelstoke? This mountain has some of the best terrain in the world and that’s why I make sure to come back every single year, ideally multiple times. There’s a ton of great skiing right off the lifts which already makes Revy world class, but once you start to know the mountain a bit more it really gets to the next level. Most of the hikes are super short so don’t require a ton of...

Reviews Summary

Mount Cartier Trail offers a range of hiking experiences, from manageable 3km walks to challenging 30km treks, all with rewarding views. While some visitors note issues with bugs and shared trails with bikers, the overall sentiment is positive for those seeking a good workout and scenic beauty in Revelstoke.

"In the later months of the summer it has been very mosquito-filled. But this is a great hike! There is the shorter 3km hike, there's a 6.5km cabin and lookout thats much more grueling. There there is the full 30km out-and-back that you see on all trails. They are all awesome."

Robbie Down

"the trail is about 3 km one way. took us about 2 hours for round trip. Not easy walk but manageable. Actually the view just before the lookout is better. if you don't want an extra 5-10 minutes of climb to the lookout, you can stop for the pictures. my pictures are taken before the outlook."

David

"Full of bugs, sign posts are for bikers not hikers
Some bikers ignore the one way signs so you can be run off the Sunnyside trail at any time.
Avoid this recommendation from the Revelstoke Hiking!"
