What are some of the lesser known “cool stuff” I can find around the USask campus?

I’ve always been an off-campus student, and this year I want to explore the campus a bit more. I know about the Dino museum, the museum of Antiquities, the statue garden, Boffin Gardens, and the Synchrotron, but, what other interesting things are around campus? I’m a science…

Reviews Summary

Visitors often describe the Museum of Natural Sciences U of S as a delightful, free surprise, especially for families. While some note it's a smaller museum, its engaging dinosaur and gem exhibits, along with its convenient campus location, make it a worthwhile and educational stop. It's particularly praised for being kid-friendly and a great spot for sparking curiosity.

"What a fantastic surprise! We decided to check out the Saskatchewan Museum of Natural History on Sask Day holiday, and to our delight, it was open! It was my first time visiting, but my boys were my expert guides, having been there before with their school trips.
They immediately led me to the dinosaur exhibits, pointing out all the different fishes and cool rock displays. Upstairs, we found a really neat mini-version of our city, which was a huge hit! The various colors and types of rocks were pretty awesome, too.
Overall, the museum may not be the biggest we've visited, but it's the perfect size to get kids excited. Watching my boys so thrilled to show me around made the whole experience unforgettable. It’s a great spot to spark a child's interest and make some fun memories!"
