Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about Sombrio Beach's stunning natural beauty, its excellent surf conditions for various skill levels, and the magical hidden waterfall. The short walk from the parking lot and the peaceful atmosphere are frequently praised, though the gravel road access and lack of cell service are noted considerations.
"A beautiful way to spend a day. About a 10 or so minute walk from the trailhead to the main beach (uphill on the way back). We didn’t make it all the way to the waterfall because we didn’t realize we were there at high tide, and forgot to check if the water was going to cut us off (no cell service in the area). The sun kept popping out so it was a beautiful day for a beach walk and to sit and watch the surfers. Love it here."
