"I'm very fortunate as Fort Willow is located 3 km from my house. This supply depot was constructed by the British in the War of 1812. There are art and timber outlines of such features as the commandant's house, the stables, the officers' kitchen, the barracks, the blacksmith's shop and the cook house. Some excellent reinactments are held here every year."

"trail was decent and offered some unique sights. You can see old wooden building foundations and a few historic sculptures that help keep the areaβs past alive. The lower part of the trail was closed for the season due to winter maintenance, but overall itβs still worth a visit."

"Very quiet place most of the time. There are some interpretive signs to tell you of the interesting history. There are no old fort buildings but just "foot prints" of the buildings. There is an annual Fort Willow day in the fall every year where there are people in period costume and crafts etc. It is really worth going! Nice rail trail at the rear of the fort."
