"We went to this cave first. Note. The hole into the cave is extremely small. To be plunt and helpful, a heavier set person would not fit in. I’m 5’11” and 160 lbs and I barely fit. Once in the cave is not very big. At the end is two holes opening to the ocean. We went at 11am so there were no sunsets to photograph through the openings. There are some cool photos online of this cave. We spent 10 minutes down there and headed up. On our way up we found an envelope that read, “To a fellow adventurer may this help you continue your adventures.” And inside was $4000. It was hidden behind a large rock that I went and sat on. It was in a plastic bag do nothing got wet. Whoever this fellow giving adventurer is, “THANK YOU”! I thought it was trash so I picked it up to remove it from the cave. A good deed never goes underpaid."

"You still need to walk a good distance to reach Ana Kakenga after you passed the entrance sign. But the place definitely worth all the hiking. Rapa Nui is a volcano terrain, wear hiking shoes. Ana Kakenga is a cave with a very narrow entrance via a hole on the ground. You definitely need to crawl and with a good flashlight (iPhone's flashlight is life-saving utility!) for about 6 meters then the room opens up. It then splits into two tunnels overlooking the ocean. Both views are breathtaking. There is no safety nets so you do want to watch your steps. It's the most amazing unexpected experience. The views from the cliff were incredible too."
