"Surprised to find this place in Guangzhou.
I honestly didn’t know about the Li Xiaolong (Bruce Lee) Ancestral Home, even though I’ve been to Guangzhou before. The building is well preserved and has that old Cantonese charm. Personally, I didn’t find much to see inside, some space with a few displays. But I think die-hard Bruce Lee fans would really appreciate the visit. Worth a quick stop if you're in the area or a fan of martial arts history."

"2025 August 4.5★
The legendary Bruce Lee's family home.
It was the residence of Bruce Lee's father Li Haiquan, who was a reputed Chou ("clown character) artist of Cantonese Opera. He became famous by performing "Ragged Shirt Drama" in the 1930s and ranked among the "Four Great Clowns" of Cantonese Opera in the 1940s. Later, a special exhibition of Bruce Lee's family residence was set up here, for which purpose the original Sai Kwan Mansion style buildings were restored. In the exhibition you could find details of Bruce Lee's life and acting career. It's a great display that's worth visiting and even see the historical architecture."

It’s in the middle of Yongqing Fang, which is a really nice area to walk around, grab a snack, and soak up some local history. Worth a quick visit if you’re in Guangzhou! Especially who loves Chinese Kungfu"
