Reviews Summary

Visitors praise the Ming City Wall Ruins Park for its historical significance and atmospheric charm, especially the well-preserved Southeast Corner Tower. Many enjoy the peaceful ambiance and photographic opportunities, particularly during sunrise and sunset. However, some note that certain areas can be uneven, and facilities might be basic.

"Excellent park to soak up some local life in Beijing - very peaceful and quiet despite the central location. The Ming Tower at the eastern end of the park has excellent views of the district, including a great view of trains arriving and departing from Beijing Railway Station. It's quite a train spotting hot spot! The tower is also immense with very few visitors."

Mark T

"Nice spot for a quiet walk. Overall time required here would be around 90 minutes. 10RMB entry fee gets you access to the top of the wall and the museum inside the large guardhouse. You get a nice view of the surrounds and Beijing train station. The park along the wall is lovely and is full of people exercising and doing various activities."

Lachlan Norman

"Great little walking park along the old Ming Dynasty City Wall. The wall's in great shape, all things considered (probably got restored recently), and the walking paths are well-maintained. Lots of families make use of it and I saw several old folks exercise groups and dance groups. Really nice for an evening walk, and for the part that's along the wall, it's free."
