What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise Paphos Harbour and Promenade for its beautiful sea views, vibrant atmosphere, and the enchanting evening ambiance. It's a versatile spot enjoyed by families, couples, and solo travelers alike, offering a pleasant mix of dining, shopping, and historical exploration. Some find the restaurant prices a bit high, and parking can be challenging during peak times.
"Our family always enjoys visiting here. The Promenade itself features mostly restaurants and tourist shops. The view is beautiful. At one end is the Paphos Castle, and a small beach right beyond that. The restaurants, as you'd expect, have higher prices than those further from the beach. Some locals pack a lunch from someplace like Zorbas, then eat it as they sit on the wall by the beach. Parking is free - it's always crowded, but we always manage to find a spot. From here it's a short walk to other great sites like St. Paul's Pillar, and the Catacomb of St. Solomoni. I highly recommend taking one of the advertised boat trips, especially if you have older children. Last time we came, the boat trip was the highlight of the entire trip for our daughter."
