In today's film we start with a view of the fantastic Agia Kyriaki Chrysopolitissa in Kato Paphos. If you didn't know the name, it is the church and monastery ruins next to St Paul's Pillar. The area is well worth a wander, though the walkways are closed at the moment for renovations, which is a shame. "A fantastic and very understated location, we found it just walking past. Successive early Christian churches have been built on the same site, with mosaics and columns surviving from the original ones, and a very pretty small church still active. The boardwalk around it was closed but you can still get around the sides of the site and see it clearly."

James Wyatt

"Amazing ancient church with many historic layers and foundations. The boardwalk is closed right now but will be repaired soon. The church is currently being used by the local Catholic parish & worth to visit their services! Amazing priests"

Leonard Skorczyk

"Stumbled across the church and site whilst in Paphos. Nice exhibit of old structures. There was an afternoon service in place with people singing which gave the place a peaceful ambiance.
It is a small site worth visiting and is within walking distance of Kings shopping centre.
Free to enter.
