Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Museum on the Demarcation Line for its impressive collection of WWII and Soviet-era military vehicles, including notable tank replicas. The well-presented interior exhibitions with voice guides and photos are also a highlight. While generally well-received, some visitors might wish for more extensive historical context or specific details on certain exhibits.
"We were lucky to have nice weather while we were visiting. There are road signs as soon as you come off the motorway and enter Rokycany town. Quite easy to find and you can park for free on a little car park. We paid 500CZK for a family ticket. You can pay with cash or by card. There is a mixture of the historic WW 2 and modern army vehicles and cannons. There are plenty of exhibitions with photos and voice guides. It took us just under an hour to walk around. There are toilets in the middle of the museum and a little buffet next to the entrance building. Some of the vehicles are regularly used for filming purposes and they have got great replicas of the Tiger and Panther tanks based on the T55 chassis. Great museum to visit for WW2 lovers. Don't hesitate to visit Rokycany itself. There is a lovely square with a church and town hall. Rokycany is celebrating Liberation day every year and the square is filled up with a lot of US army vehicles."
