What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise Parque Cóndor for its impressive collection of rescued birds of prey and the educational flight show. The affordable entry fee and the dedication to conservation are frequently highlighted as major positives. Some guests note that the bird show is entirely in Spanish, which may limit understanding for non-Spanish speakers, and the drive to the park can be steep.
"This was recommended by several people to go and visit, and although everything is in Spanish, the visit was worthwhile to do. We met the founder, a very friendly fellow countryman who set this place up many years ago. Great to see that a combination of local initiatives and foreign help can create this kind of place to help rescue these birds and teach the population about it."

"This is a well set up park with an amazing variety of birds of prey. Our experience was heightened as we saw a ‘free’ condor who happened to be sitting and flying around at the time. I’m sure the show would have been very informative but it was only in Spanish so out of the 6 of us watching only 1 person understood."

"The park is overall very well organized. The aviaries are spacious, even though it's not the same as having the birds fly completely free. The selection of raptors is excellent: falcons, eagles, owls, and of course, the harpy eagle and the Andean condor. The informational panels are clear and comprehensive. The exhibition is engaging, and the interaction with children is very well handled. The museum could be a bit more informative. Overall, a great experience."
