Reviews Summary

Wadi El Rayan is praised as a beautiful, quiet oasis in the desert, offering impressive waterfalls and unique below-sea-level lakes. Visitors enjoy the desert drive, sandboarding, and the opportunity for camping. However, some reviewers have noted instances of rudeness from locals targeting foreigners and found the waterfalls to be smaller than expected.

"Not a very good experience here. They ask extra "tip" to our driver just becuz we are foreigners. And people there are rude! (Egyptian tourists). Why do you target foreigners to tease and make fun of? Shame on you. I wouldn't recommend coming here for scenery either cuz the waterfall is small and nothing special. People also dip their feet in the water. Aw. Just stay in tunis village."

Jisun Kim

"Beautiful quiet place. Lake just in the middle of the desert. The drive towards the lake is a quite nice sand dunes 4x4 experience"

Dennis van Bart

"It's a national park which you can spend the day or night or you can camp 🏕 for a few days
It is a very safe and pure nature.
Last visit we were around 5 cars and we had our chairs 💺 icebox and grilling equipment,
We spent the day and rented a boat, and the kids enjoyed the sand boarding over the dunes, and finally, we chose Lake side location to prepare our meal 😀
It is highly recommended if you have a 4x4 or sedan car 🚗 because there are several areas in which you don't need 4x4."
