"Really interesting old ruins of a castle, you can go inside and walk around to take some photos. Parking was definitely not the easiest, as there wasn't too much space.
PS: There is even a Geocache hidden here :-)"

"The castle is right next to the road but there is a parking lot and the bus stop right next to it. You can enter the castle (or what is left of it) and let your imagination go wild. It is an unfinished building which has a quite sad story: one man was building it for his loved one but she died.

To get there you can take a bus from Haapsalu bus station (ca 10 minutes) or go there by car. I took a walk (ca 50 min) from Haapsalu through the forest.

Ungru Manor was intended to be one of the most impressive Neo-Baroque buildings in the Baltic states, an almost exact copy of Merseburg Castle. Its construction was halted due to the death of the intended recipient, and later, parts were demolished for a Soviet airfield runway.
