"Beautiful chateau with edible flowers, an old chapel, a little maze at the top and wine tasting at the end. Dogs are allowed on short leads too. We got a good explanation about wine growing and making and left with twelve bottles of grape juice (red and white) and six bottles of fizzy rose."

"Beautiful gardens of a former chateau (burnt down in 1948 but some of the buildings remain). We were given a helpful leaflet in English to help us explore (this is an RHS partner garden). I found the large kitchen garden particularly impressive. At the end we tasted a couple of the estate’s wines and enjoyed enough to buy a couple of cases!
Well worth a detour.
Note: dogs are permitted on short leads but no water bowls or dog bins provided."
