What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors appreciate the Digue de la Roche Torin for its unique photographic opportunities, especially the iconic views of Mont Saint Michel with grazing sheep. It's considered a peaceful spot for a stroll or a stop along the Veloscenie cycle route. However, some find it less of a destination in itself and more of a scenic detour.
"A different view on Mont Saint Michel. Good if you pass by on walk or ride but not worth as a specific destination."

"This is unmissable, an abbey perched on a rock that at high tide is almost surrounded by the sea. It's also packed with tourists and much more expensive than any other place in the area but despite this, a must see. It's possible to cycle almost to the base of the hill but there are only around 60 places on the cycle racks they were nearly full at 10.15 so get there early. The veloscenie cycle route that goes past is mostly an old railway line, very well signposted, mostly excellent packed grit surface and almost flat, beautiful scenery."
Steve Jupe
"A little walk around the corner gives an amazing view with sheep in front of the picture. A must visit for photographers who need another angle to shoot from. Specially during the sunrise/set this is a good spot to be at."
