What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Reviews for Camargue boat tours are mixed. While some visitors praise the knowledgeable guides and enjoyable canal cruises, others express disappointment over a lack of promised wildlife sightings and language barriers on tours. The experience can be highly dependent on managing expectations regarding animal encounters and confirming tour language details beforehand.
"The cruise was very disappointing… The program included flamingos, bulls, horses etc., yet non of these were actually seen. It’s a 2.5 hour long ride on the canals, which wasn’t that bad, but the cruise was definitely not worth it, since there was literally nothing to be seen."

"We booked it online. The page was in English so it must mean that they have English tours or atleast an English audio guide. We arrive at the location and the lady in the cashier said she will translate important information for us (she said it in English of course) and when we went in to the boat. 3 hours of sitting there, not understanding a thing. The lady who is talking in the front did not take her time to translate at all. She could have atleast told us before riding that she wasn’t going to translate. But instead we went on a tour not understanding a thing and the fact the their website has an English option makes you feel like they offer English tours, but no. Sadly, they DO NOT. I was very disappointed and we also did not see a single flamingo even though they promised to show us some."
