Reviews Summary

Visitors praise Nemea for its well-maintained archaeological site, particularly the impressive Temple of Zeus and the remarkably preserved stadium. The museum's collection, especially the jewelry, is a highlight, offering valuable historical context. Many appreciate the site's serene atmosphere and the opportunity to combine history with wine tasting in the renowned Nemean region.

"The best thing of the site is to see the partially rebuilt temple (watching standing up column is always nice). The rest of the site is nothing special. The museum is not big but with quite a lot of things….but, personal ent, not well explained. The best is the jewellery collection (the gold stuff very nice). Together with the stadium (nearby) it worths a visit if you are already going to Micene.
Enough parking in front of museum."

"There are nice open grounds that you walk through and a museum that contains a lot of artifacts, which is more than we expected. There is a stadium very close by that is amazing, too."

Vivi Lane

"The ancient temple of Zeus impresses the spectator with its size and beauty. It is in a relatively good condition, especially when comparing it with the temple of Zeus in Athens, where support is needed in every column. No supports here, just the amazing scenery! It's not an overcrowded site too, so you can take your time and enjoy precious moments of serenity. Don't forget to also visit the archaeological museum to learn the actual history of this place!"
