"Oh Great Gavdos ⚡️
On your pilgrimage to Gavdos
Pray you that your journey will be long.
And that numerous adventures will make your spirit strong.
Pray that you encounter troubles
And high waves in the middle of the sea,
May your journey be through toughness
to overcome and make you free.
Wise indeed is the island of Calypso to put you to the test,
For all the trials you encounter, shall bring out from you your best.
And as this being that is new
You shall come refined and true.
Through the journey of adventures you shall come to see.
That the journey in itself has been your destiny.
Oh how wise you are Great Gavdos,
Wise enough to make me see.
That your power lies in wisdom of your mystery.
And once discovered, the mystery is gone
So take the time to savour it and in the process find a place where you belong."

"Pretty nice isolated small island with beautiful sandy beaches with clear and crystal waters and sandhills. The accomodation options are not many on the island, but free camping is an option. It has also traditional taverns with good food and cozy cafe, the island is a good choice for quiet, alternative holidays."
