What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Metalia Mine Park is lauded for its stunning, unique marble beach and the intriguing abandoned mine, offering a visually spectacular and off-the-beaten-path experience. While the scenery and atmosphere are highly praised, the food quality at the beach bar receives consistent negative feedback, leading many to recommend sticking to drinks.
"The service is nice and polite.
The beach and the sunbeds are nice, and not too expensive, 10 euros. That's only for the sunbeds, but it's a fair price.
The bar has a nice view and atmosphere.
The food is terrible tho, maybe something else is okay, but we ordered 2 portions of chicken fingers, and it was 0/10. They were frozen and cooked somewhat. The fries we got were cooked earlier and old. They were squishy and cold. So the food gets a solid 0/10 score. Sorry. I do not recommend ordering food. The price of one plate was 9 euro. It was also slowly prepared.
Also, there is no wifi on the beach."

"Absolute stunning Instagram location off the beaten track, by foot from Limenaria head past the abandoned museum on the hill and take your time down the rugged steps, it's cooler to go before the sun gets up 🌞.
And as there's only about 40 Sunbeds I would suggest you go early especially in peak season.
The toilet is a closet with a hole in the floor but it's all clean and doesn't smell so all good.
Costas is the main man, 2 Sunbeds, a table and umbrella was €8.
His wife came along later to help out, along with another lady.
All drinks are bottled tip get a glass there straight out of the freezer ice cold is an understatement.
Excellent choice of beers, Methos, Alfa, 2 other Greek ones, Amstel Radler (lemon beer 2%).
When we got there we had 2 ice coffees you also get a glass of water so when you have had your coffee you refill the glass with the water and you have another drink.
Costas also has a small cafe doing hotdogs, burgers, toasties etc
The sand has small pebbles there are sand bags in the sea to walk out on to make it easier and safer under foot.
There's also free parking if you want to go by car."

"They have a nice beach bar with shadow and sea view. Coffee is good. Obviously the food is fastfood and frozen but at least you can eat something hot such as souvlaki etc."
