"A great half day or full day get away from the Hong Kong island. Peng Chau island has some really nice swimming beaches and great nature trail that is easy for kids and pets.

Getting here:
Take the ferry from Hong Kong central pier no. 6 , the hkkf ferry plues here; there are fast and slow ferries check the time.

At the island
There is a huge supermarket (wellcome)
There are few good restaurants and cafes (my recco is - the island table and the edible project)
Did not notice pharmacies or dispensaries
There is a hige public library (you can donate and pick up free books)
There is a children’s park and playgrounds

Nature trail
This goes all around the island and is a great way to explore the island, the map for this trail is only at the central ferry terminal (6) somehow but the google maps should help

We followed this route took us about 3 hrs including the swim break and lunch break

We first went to cafe to pick up food for the trail then we went to turtle island, from there made our way to fisherman’s rock ; on the way there are 2 beaches you can swim at we stopped at one of them. After fisherman’s rock we made our way to finger hill , on the way we stopped at tung wan barbeque area and ate pur lunch there. After finger hill we made our way to Ngan Chau Tsai view point and from here to edible project cafe and back to the ferry. If someone requires i can leave the coordinates of this route

Hope this review helps"
