Reviews Summary

Mývatn Nature Baths are praised for their natural beauty, unique milky blue waters, and more affordable pricing compared to other Icelandic lagoons. Visitors appreciate the spacious pools and scenic surroundings, making it a relaxing geothermal experience. However, some find the changing facilities basic and the water temperature could be warmer.

"I would probably have rated this higher if I hadn't experienced how great the spa named Vök was. Because the contrast between the changing rooms between the two was impossible to ignore.

Mud on the floor, no dry spaces, no private changing booths, and people everywhere.

The smell of sulfur was tolerable and worth it for the color and experiance of the nature bath, and once in the water the place was spacious enough for relaxation.

The surroundings are also very pretty.

We were not bothered by the renovations at all and I do hope the new building will offer better changing rooms."

"It felt more natural than the other more expensive hot springs. The price is lower as well. The water temperature could be a bit warmer though. All in all great place to visit."

"Enjoyed our trip to the Myvatn Nature Bath which is a mid-level nature bath. There are two large pools and two small pools and steam rooms. This is definitely good for families with kids. It's nice that they provide drinking water everywhere. You can also order drinks from the swim up bar."
