What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the Agra Bear Rescue Centre for its educational value and the passionate dedication of its staff, particularly guides like Ruman. The center provides a heartwarming glimpse into the recovery of rescued sloth bears, offering a stark contrast to their past suffering. While the experience is overwhelmingly positive, some visitors note the distance from main Agra attractions and the functional nature of facilities.
"Fantastic experience. We were guided by Ruman who is very friendly, helpful and informative! He went above and beyond - answering our questions and introducing us to each bear in the facility, demonstrating his passion for this work.
Wildlife SOS have created a wonderful environment for these rescue bears, at Agra Bear Rescue Facility."

"Great tour with Ruman. Very educational, documented and interesting tour with only one concern: the well-being of the bears. We really feel his passion for what he does and the cause he defends. Never in judgment, especially of the people who may have exploited these bears for entertainment. We were able to observe the keepers giving the bears their afternoon snack, made from fruit. We were told about the history of this center but also of the bears. It was great, I recommend doing it before or after the elephant center, the two being very complementary if you are passing through Agra!"
