"Must visit place of hampi ruins. The famous chariot appearing on Indian rupee is here. Some of the buildings are very huge and detailed like music pillars etc. There is a river backside of the huge place which is a must walk , it was so good due to monsoon end and water flow was more. Pick and drop from parking is chargeable via battery car for rs. 10 per head if you wish to take that which I'll recommend to take it - else you need to walk like 750 ms inside"

"We reached there at around 6:45 AM. My wife, our guide and I were the only people around.

I guess we would not have enjoyed the way we did when there was not a single soul around. Loved the cool breeze that accompanied us along with the mix of beautiful sounds of the innumerable birds surrounding us.

Coming to the architecture, it's magnificent. Words fall short on how beautiful the entire complex is. To think that it was handcrafted hundreds of years ago with no modern-day tool is unbelievable.

Highly, highly recommended. Try to visit as early as possible to avoid the rush of people."
