The historical significance, particularly its role as a royal retreat with an ingenious cooling system, is a major draw. "Architectural good place to visit. Big lawn is there to spend time. Immediately after the parking there is a public toilet for use. For entering the place, you need to buy and online ticket via ASI link displayed out there. Thats only time buy which can be used for the chariot temple as well or rather any other monument where it is required to enter the place - like a one day valid pass"

"I really enjoyed visiting Lotus Mahal in Hampi! 🪷 The palace has a beautiful design with a mix of Indian and Islamic styles. It was built for one of Krishnadevaraya’s wives and has a unique lotus shape. 🏰 What’s really cool is that it used water running through the beams to keep the place cool during hot summers. 🌞 The palace has three floors, open corridors, and 24 carved pillars. There are no walls, so it feels super spacious. Nearby, you can also see some watch towers 🏯 and an elephant enclosure 🐘. It’s a great spot for history lovers and anyone who likes photography! 📸"

"It is an important secular structure in Hampi, India. The Lotus Mahal is an example of Vijayanagara style of architecture and is a two storied structure built in masonry and finely plastered. The structure was used as place for royal family of the Vijayanagara Empire. Built in the Zenana enclosure and was reserved for the royal women and used as a relaxing place for the royal family. Beautiful place. Lots to see. Very popular place, lots of tourists and locals. Fee charged for entry. Higher fees for foreigners. Wear comfy shoes, take water, wear hat, sunscreen. Very humid and hot at by noon"
