"This is an absolutely stunning place during the mansoon. Not crowed so much. During the monsoon, Bhavali Dam transforms into a breathtakingly beautiful and tranquil retreat. It's a photographer's paradise and an ideal spot for quality time with loved ones. Reaching here is so easy from main road and ffom the view point side, and once there, visitors are captivated by the dam's powerful water flow and the mesmerizing, lush surroundings."

"Bhavali Dam is a Very Large & Scenic Dam which is located a short drive away from the Samruddhi Expressway Turn Off from the Main Highway. Even though some parts of the Road leading to the Dam are not in Good Shape, it is still an Enjoyable Drive. There is however no infrastructure available at the Dam, although it is such a Popular Tourist Attraction. There is no Dedicated Area for Parking, No Restrooms and No Trash Bins, so People Litter all over the place, which is So Terrible. The Views of the Dam are however Very Beautiful and you can even climb up the Steep Steps leading to the Top of the Dam, if you are up to it for an Even Better View. A Very Good Place to Visit when in Igatpuri and Very Popular as well."

The Monsoon Spectacle
For photographers and nature lovers, the monsoon offers unparalleled beauty. The misty atmosphere, the lush vegetation, and the sheer force of the water create a dramatic and serene environment. It's an ideal time for a day trip from Mumbai or Nashik, offering a refreshing escape into nature's grandeur. However, this beauty also attracts crowds, so planning your visit for a weekday is highly recommended to fully appreciate the tranquility.
Navigating the Dam and Its Surroundings
While the natural beauty is a major draw, it's important to be aware of the limited infrastructure. Parking is typically roadside, and amenities like restrooms and trash bins are scarce. This means visitors should come prepared with essentials like water and snacks, and practice responsible tourism by carrying their waste back. Despite these minor inconveniences, the raw, natural beauty and the relatively uncrowded (on weekdays) atmosphere make Bhavali Dam and Waterfall a worthwhile destination for a nature escape.
