Reviews Summary

Visitors praise Bhavali Dam and Waterfall for its stunning natural beauty, especially during the monsoon, offering a peaceful escape with lush greenery and powerful cascades. While the scenic drive and free entry are highlights, some note the lack of infrastructure like dedicated parking and restrooms, leading to littering issues.

"Bhavali Dam is a great place to visit during monsoon. The greenery is beautiful and peaceful. The road is narrow, but cars and bikes can pass through. There are small food stalls near the dam. A local washroom is available. It's perfect for a relaxing getaway. The scenic views are stunning. I recommend visiting during monsoon for the best experience. The atmosphere is serene and calming. Overall, Bhavali Dam is a must-visit in Igatpuri."

Ganesh Badgeri

"This is an absolutely stunning place during the mansoon. Not crowed so much. During the monsoon, Bhavali Dam transforms into a breathtakingly beautiful and tranquil retreat. It's a photographer's paradise and an ideal spot for quality time with loved ones. Reaching here is so easy from main road and ffom the view point side, and once there, visitors are captivated by the dam's powerful water flow and the mesmerizing, lush surroundings."

Ajay Mohanty

"Bhavali Dam is a Very Large & Scenic Dam which is located a short drive away from the Samruddhi Expressway Turn Off from the Main Highway. Even though some parts of the Road leading to the Dam are not in Good Shape, it is still an Enjoyable Drive. There is however no infrastructure available at the Dam, although it is such a Popular Tourist Attraction. There is no Dedicated Area for Parking, No Restrooms and No Trash Bins, so People Litter all over the place, which is So Terrible. The Views of the Dam are however Very Beautiful and you can even climb up the Steep Steps leading to the Top of the Dam, if you are up to it for an Even Better View. A Very Good Place to Visit when in Igatpuri and Very Popular as well."

The Monsoon Spectacle

Bhavali Dam and Waterfall truly comes alive during the monsoon season. The Western Ghats surrounding the dam turn into a vibrant tapestry of emerald green, making the journey there as picturesque as the destination itself. The waterfall, often a gentle stream at other times, transforms into a powerful, multi-tiered cascade, its roar echoing through the hills. It's an ideal time for a day trip from Mumbai or Nashik, offering a refreshing escape into nature's grandeur.
