What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Swamimalai Trek for its stunning panoramic views and the serene atmosphere at the summit, especially during misty mornings. However, many find the ticket price steep given the lack of basic facilities like restrooms and drinking water on the trail. The trek is rewarding but requires good preparation regarding supplies.
"I recently completed my first trek here and was blown away by its beauty and peaceful atmosphere. While the trek was a challenge, especially for elderly folks, the scenic views made it all worth it. However, I did notice a few areas for improvement - the lack of restrooms and drinking water facilities was a bit of a struggle. They do provide a cap at the ticket counter, but a water bottle would be a great addition. A restroom facility, especially for women, would be a huge plus. Despite these minor drawbacks, the place is a must-visit for trekking enthusiasts and nature lovers. The ticket price is ₹523, which is a bit steep, but totally worth the experience."
