"Nice little market with huge selection of local handicrafts. There were lots of purses, paintings, hats, and traditional clothing. Remember, the prices quoted to foreigners are upto 80% high, so bargain accordingly.

(We were quoted 150k for a Saroong but we managed to get it for 40k, almost 70% off, paintings initially quoted for 1.5 mil were down to 600k)

While we can bargain, it is good to keep interest of these people. We did give tip to them which made them quite happy. "Words of mouth" travel faster than light here, soon after the tip news people started offering good prices."
