"The Moghadam House Museum of the University of Tehran once belonged to Dr. Mohsen Moghadam, the son of Ehtesab al-Molk, and was donated to the university in 1972.
This house, built in the late Qajar era on Sepah Street, was registered as a national heritage site in 2000. It consists of three courtyards: the outer and inner yards. The buildings include a vestibule, reception room, workshop, aristocratic tower, Qajar-era veranda, and more.
The complex also features a Japanese garden, designed and created by Mohsen Moghadam and his wife, inspired by traditional Japanese gardens."

Born into an affluent family, Hossein Moghaddam studies in Europe of different occasions. Upon his return to Iran, he resided in this house and was busy teaching in the university and leading excavation works in the southern part of the country.
The house has been renovated, but certain areas retain their original structure. It is typical of late 19th century Iranian architecture where one big courtyard in the centre connects different areas of the house.
