What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Conversano Castle and its Old Town for their historical charm and the quality of art exhibitions hosted within the castle. The picturesque streets and authentic atmosphere of the old town are frequently highlighted as major draws, making it a delightful place to explore.
"We ended up visiting the museum within the castle, with the adjoining archeological museum. The castle visit was nice, and the art on display was impressive. In the archeological museum, we met Donatella, a very passionate young lady who explained at great length the political history of Italy through the 20th century. That made our day. Unfortunately, the display cases in the room were described in Italian only. Hopefully, it gets translated for people who don’t read Italian. The next room showed archeological artifacts and digging sites. That part of the museum is permanent and descriptions are in Italian and English. Enjoyed it thoroughly."

"I visited the splendid Escher exhibition on April 19th 2025.
This is the second time I’ve been to this castle; the first time was for the Chagall exhibition."

"What a beautiful town. Very old style like most Italian cities. Never heard of the town but my family took me there and I'd definitely go back"
