"San Vito a Mare is a small cove with its little fishing boats bobbing about in the water overlooked by the towering ancient Abbey. It is a beautiful little port, nice looking Abbey that is unfortunately privately own so you cannot visit.
You can take a boat ride there to visit Pogliano a Mare caves.
The town was once very prosperous and the monks turned this place into a pilgrimage destination. The church doors show marks from Turkish attacks as well as attempts to defend the building from the sea."
