"Such an iconic pass and a second time visitor. Last time I cycled up and mistakingly turned around at the war memorial, as there is a restaurant there. The top is another 1km+ from there where you'll see The sign from my pictures and find a great cafe with delicious pastries. I started from Bormio at 7.45am and it was nice not having many motorbikes or cars. After a quick refuel, I was back in Bormio by 10.30am 🚵♂️⛰️"

"It is one of the highest and most spectacular passes in the area, caravans or trailers are not allowed, the southern part is very wild and the road very narrow, there are sections of the road where a car and a bicycle barely fit. The landscape is superb, especially at the top."
