"The Oslavia War Memorial honours soldiers killed in the Great War, particularly those who died during the taking of Gorizia in 1916.
It houses the remains of 57,201 Italian soldiers, 36,440 of them unknown, as well as those of 539 Austro-Hungarian troops.
Walking around, surrounded by tens of thousands of names, and getting excellent guidance from guide Bartolomeo, you can really feel the unbearable weight of history.

"Is there any austo-hungary soldiers? Grave of my granfather (he was AU soldier) were on Via Cappucini street, but now is there park, cementery now not exsist.
Where Italian guverment moved grave from that place? Maybe Oslavia? Please someone answer to my question.. :)"
