"Good and much needed renovations make it worth the visit. The audioguide wasn't working very well but is included in the price (maybe we got a defected one). Overall very well done and exhaustive."
Federica Cecchini
"Wonderful castle dating back to the 12th century.
The history of the castle is very interesting, as it changed hands numerous times during the ages, with each owner leaving their own mark.
Visited during a rainy day which only added to the atmosphere of the place. There are numerous interesting exhibits, including weapons and musical instruments. The great hall hosts a multimedia presentation on the history of the castle and the surrounding lands.
The price of a ticket was 10€ per adult, with tickets for children and senior citizens costing less. The price of admission was well worth it, as the ticket office will also provide tablets on request which will enhance the experience with interesting tidbits of information.
This is a must see!"
