È presente an...

Reviews Summary

Visitors find the Villa Romana di Minori to be an authentic and fascinating glimpse into Roman coastal life, appreciating its well-preserved rooms, frescoes, and mosaics. While some note it lacks the polish of more famous ruins and question the pricing for what they perceive as 'mushy stones,' others highlight its historical significance and the unique experience of exploring an ancient villa. Reddit

"Looked old, but not very much. The environment is nice. Since we visited in the early morning, we did not get a chance to enter. The big vases looked great and interesting. But such vases are there in the main square of Minori as well. It is not clear if they are also of Roman origin."

Sumanta Chakraborty

"While it doesn't have the polish of some of the more famous Roman ruins in Italy, the Roman Villa in Minori is authentic and fascinating. There are many rooms that you can wander through and great interpretations of what it is thought it originally looked like. There are remnants of tiled artworks and frescos, and many artifacts. While there are few remaining Roman villas on the Amalfi coast, this one is in fairly decent shape. The accidental discovery of this villa was a lucky find. For people that enjoy ancient Roman architecture, I think you'll find this site fascinating."

Chris Schmitt

"If you are visiting Minori the Villa Romana is a must see. Remarkable to see a Roman villa so far from Rome. Even then that Amalfi Coast had its allure."
