The 8-euro ticket price has been a point of contention, especially if sections are closed. Be aware there are no toilets on-site, so plan accordingly before your visit.Reddit

Reviews Summary

Roman Villa Sant'Imbenia offers a glimpse into history through its ruins, with a friendly local guide often cited as a positive aspect. However, potential visitors should be aware of inconsistent opening hours, possible site closures, and a lack of amenities, which have led some to question the value of the admission fee.

"Nothing special. Despite one poster with some explanation the route around the ruins are 'incognito', so you have to play with your imagination. Don' t waste your time there, go to beatch instead.

Btw, no toilet in surrounding area."

Daniel Turek

"Nice quiet place but grass was knee deep in April. The local guy was easygoing and friendly. So much so that he practically forgot we didn't speak Italian :)"

Gábor SZŰCS

"Two stars instead of one bc the guy was helpful and explained everything patiently and in good mood. But you cannot charge 8 euros for a ticket to see 5 sites when 4 of them are closed because it is wednesday and november. It does not help that the ticket is valid for a year when I am leaving Alguero tomorow.

Only wanted to see the roman villa btw, and coming from Spain where you can see the roman art national museum in Mérida for 3 eur, visit whatever roman vila or the whole of Baelo Claudia just for free, paying 8 eur to see just another one is way to much.

Again, give the chance to pay smth reasonable just to see this place. The bundle should be an option, not the only one."
