What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors generally praise Aphrodite Apollon Thermal Park for its beautiful setting, diverse thermal pools with varying temperatures, and the unique, mineral-rich natural waters. The stunning views of Sant'Angelo and the relaxing atmosphere are frequently highlighted. However, some guests note that the entrance fee can be higher than advertised, food service is slow, and the hilly terrain with many stairs might be a challenge for some.
"All in all an amazing experience, very clean and nice place and staff from the lifeguards to the restaurant team. The restaurant is a bit overpriced but that's to be expected. If you get bored of one pool you have enough others to choose from with different temperatures and water features.
At the entrance we were charged 35 EUR per person for entry even though the website states this month (September) it's 30 per person for non residents. Also they seemingly (as in I saw one being walked straight by the pools and being sat on a pool chair next to a pool) allow dogs into the pool area, which I find quite unsanitary.
All in all worth the price though :)"

"Quite a trek to get to the spa from the entrance to the pedestrian Sant'Angelo village, but it was lovely once I arrived. Lots of nice pools of various temperatures, the natural sauna was very cool (I don't mean in temperature), the views were phenomenal. I appreciated the covered area at the top since I burn easily. The chairs also have a shade part to block the sun from your face. The restaurant was good too. Would recommend! Bring your own beach towel. They provide lockers."

"Wonderful thermal baths and spa on a small seaside location near Sant' Angelo. I would have given it a 5 rating but it has some rough edges, largely due to a lot of adjacent construction and unrestored structures. (It's not noisy)
The pools are different from others we've seen in that they are unfiltered, so not clear but still very clean. They drain and clean them every night! The unfiltered thermal waters give a rich experience and are supposedly more healthful.
The layout is a bit challenging due to the terrain, with two main levels and 9 pools, plus a wellness center and sauna. It's on a scenic cliff overlooking the bay, so they really had to stage it like this. It does create a quieter, peaceful environment as opposed to a larger single layout. We enjoyed it.
I believe we also had access to a small beach on the bay below the spa, with delightful waters.
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and recommend it to anyone who can do stairs and is in the area!"
