"My Dad used to tell me that when he was a kid, he came here to play cricket and offer prayers to Peer Mitha Sahib. Here, we observe the true harmony between people... no matter what they are or where to they belong. It's a crystal to Jammu... I guess this place is the reason why we are called "khand mithe log Dogre.." Also the story behind its existence makes it more special. Sufi saint Peer Mitha gave sweets to children. It is said that he actually belongs to Persia but settled here to teach Urdu and Persian to Dogra kings... there was a small fort at its surroundings but that got degraded with time"
