"We visited Kikugahama beach just after obon holiday in 2025. It was amazing experience to swim in this beach. The water is very clear.
The beach is very popular. There are some shops beside the beach where one can easily buy drinks and swimming materials as well.
We 3 from Bangladesh enjoyed a lot. Some high school students from Ogori talked with us, swim along with us and it was very memoriable day for us.

"Step over Kamakura, this is the most beautiful beach in Japan! I mean, of course that’s a matter of opinion, but this beach is stunning and far more peaceful than better-known beaches in Japan. Come here around sunset on a lightly cloudy day and listen to the waves rolling in. That’s how I spent the last day of 2020, and it was the best thing I did all year. I highly recommend this spot."

"Kikugahama beach is cool with few fishermen and swimmers. Water was crystal clear and some jellyfish were visible. The waves were pretty awesome and funny to play with.
We went in early July and there were very few people on the beach. We stayed over in a nearby hotel and the sound of water waves the whole night was a marvelous experience to have."
