What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Naze District, particularly Walton-on-the-Naze, is appreciated for its natural beauty, historic Naze Tower, and classic seaside charm. Visitors enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, coastal walks, and the unique intertidal landscapes of Hamford Water. Some find the cliffs unstable and ferry travel times long.
"The Port is a typical port for tourism, very secure and the port authority was as kind as ever. All I wanted to say was thank you to the beautiful people of Naze who sent off our ship. It was a joy to be welcomed and sent off with music and joy. I love the people of Japan and implore people to visit."

"Cruise ships seem to come to Naze Port regularly, roughly once every 1-2 months.
Usually, there are many ferries to Okinawa, Kagoshima, and Tokunoshima. There is a park at the port, which gives it a very open feel. As it is a port, the waves are calm and very beautiful. You can also get a panoramic view of Naze's cityscape, making it a wonderful place.
When a cruise ship is here, there are also stalls set up. There is also a slightly elevated observation point, which I think is a good photo spot.
There is plenty of parking, so it is easily accessible."

"It always docks early in the morning (lol).
I'd love to go ashore someday."
