"This is a very informative nature center and gift shop. It explains the history of the Notsuke peninsula. There are some taxidermy animals on the second floor. It also has a map of recently spotted animals on the peninsula. You can walk out across the field along a path and see lots of animals too."

"This area is amazing. Though abit of a distance to drive out here but well worth the effort.
On a clear day like this in early feb, you get to see the moutain ranges all around. Its water on one side of the road while there is ice and snow on the other side.
There are snow mobile tour for rent in this visitor center. There is a restaurant and a gift shop as well.
Just out of the building you can find a walking trail that leads you out towards the fast frozen ice. Pretty amazing for pictures.
If you come early in the morning there should be better chances of spotting wildlife too."
