Reviews Summary

Visitors find Guho-ji Temple a mellow and relaxing place with beautiful panoramic city views, especially enchanting during cherry blossom season. The steep stone steps and the mysterious 'Tear Stone' add unique character, though some note limited availability of temple seals and amulets.

"Nice place to walk around and relax."

Anandeeta Shilpakar

"A mellow place to visit."

Peter Parise

"This temple is surrounded by trees and stands on hilltop with a panoramic view of the city.
In the second photo, the main hall is on the right and the guest hall is on the left, and amulets and temple seals are sold in the guest hall.
There is a large cherry tree near the main hall, so it makes for a beautiful view in spring.

It takes about 15 minutes on foot from Keisei Kokufudai Station or Keisei Ichikawa-Mama Station to the stone steps leading to the Niomon Gate, but from JR Ichikawa Station you'll have to walk through a residential area for over 20 minutes.
There seems to be a parking lot, but as it is a temple, it's best to think of it as mainly for parishioners."
