What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the stunning, unobstructed views of Mt. Fuji, especially during sunset and cherry blossom season. The relaxing foot bath and the overall clean, well-maintained atmosphere are also frequently praised. However, some find the entrance fee to be on the higher side, and the visibility of Mt. Fuji is entirely dependent on clear weather conditions.
"Beautiful spot with an amazing view to Mt Fuji. We walked up, as Norwegians we like it this way. The trail was pretty easy to follow eventhough it is not well marked on Google Maps. You still have to pay the same to get in to the area if you walk or if you take the cablecar."

"We were late and one of the last few to go up the ropeway. Because it was sakura season, we saw cherry blossoms on the way up. At the top, the view was breathtaking. The sunset and cherry blossoms set a nice landscape to the whole place. Fuji-san was initially hiding behind the clouds but eventually peeked out after 30-45mins. My travel companions said we were very lucky as Fuji-san doesnt appear all the time. It is true, bcos he was hiding behind fog when we went to Lake Kawaguichiko the next day.
We sat at the chairs along the open terrance with hot coffee in hand. It was very calming.
We didnt walk around bcos we were there late but I will make it a point to do the walkabouts when i go again. I see from other reviews there is a lot more to see."
