"Came here when it was raining, which was perfect because it is basically all indoors or has overhead cover. I took my time to see the different birds and flowers, so it took me about 2 hours. Definitely get to see some pretty cool birds and I really liked the feeding opportunities. Only 100 yen to feed birds straight out of your hand. One section had flying birds that will sit right on your shoulder in expectation of food haha. They have a variety of special shows like the penguin walk, flying owls, and more, depending on the time. It's a worthwhile trip if you're planning to visit matsue and are looking for things to do"

"We went during their summer festival event! It was a lot of fun and the food was tasty.
The actual park is interesting and requires a lot of walking, though the zoo is small. The best part I think was their green house!"
