Reviews Summary

Visitors praise Sakura no Yama Park for its unique blend of cherry blossoms and close-up plane spotting, offering a peaceful yet exciting experience near Narita Airport. While the park is free and offers great views, some find the public transport infrequent and parking limited during peak times.

"We arrived at the park few days before sakura bloom, so the flowers are not yet fully bloomed but the area is gorgeous specially when planes are taking off to fly, a wonderful experience for me."

"A nice place to take a seat and chill (while watching the planes).
There is also a restaurant and a food market with souvenirs too. There are also some toilets nearby and a bus stop.

Photos taken during early April."

"A nice park located near the end of the NRT airport runway, so it's a good spot to watch planes taking off and roaring above you. Getting there with public transit with a tight schedule can be a challenge as local bus schedule is sparse. I took a cab to get there from NRT airport in the morning (¥1800) and took the 12:30pm bus back to the airport (¥210) for my afternoon flight."
