"I always stop relaxing at Heiwajima Onsen while a long wait for my next flight. This place is perfect for hanging out if you don’t want to explore downtown. The facility includes shower, onsen, sauna, steam room, restaurant, snack shop, spa for fee, relaxing room and tv room.
I landed at Haneda at 6AM and spent 7 hours at the onsen for late afternoon flight.
How to get there:
Use Keikyu line at the airport (Narita or Shinagawa direction train. Get off at Heiwajima station take about 22 mins for 🚉 279 yen
Once get off the station, Make a left turn to bus stop no.3 heading to Big Fun Heiwajima for 100 yen (which is next stop and last stop, so you won’t miss it)
You will see Donki, next to it on your left hand side is escalator to the second floor. Here you are in front of the onsen.
7 hours for 2,300 yen (including bath towel, pajama, lockers) oh, btw if you have a big suitcase, free of charge to keep in property. They provide big lockers for big bags but you need to insert 100 yen coin to operate but will return when you retrieve your bag.
Total of the trip from Haneda airport to Heiwajima onsen is
Train: 279x2 = 558
Bus: 100x1 = 100 (you get a free ride to train station , just ask the staffs for a free bus ticket after check out from the onsen)
Entrance fee: 2,300
Total: 3,058 yen
BTW, massive tattoo is not allowed in here. small tattoo can be covered by tattoo cover sheet. They also sell on the property for 298 yen/sheet. So buy from somewhere else.
Anyway, Much cheaper than staying at hotel.
I highly recommend it."

"It was great experience! I arrived early flight so I came to the spa. I could rest a little bit, there are enought lounge for all, 3 rooms. It was very refreshing and healing. I felt new! The only thing I didn't like is in the morning the cleaning lady turned on all the light of the lounge and start making lots of noise. The experience was excellent and comparing with another onsens, this one can say, one of the best!"

"Just spent 3 hours, before our flight home. Loved it! The staff was super friendly and helpful. It was our first time to an onsen. Not as English friendly as other places in Tokyo but we made it through just going with the flow and asking for help. Lots of free luggage storage. Had lunch. Just pay for everything with your wristband. Husband got great massage too. Would like to go back some day."
