Reviews Summary
Kurohime Kogen Snow Park is highly praised for its unique dog-friendly policy, allowing pets on lifts and slopes, and its beginner-friendly terrain. Visitors appreciate the scenic views and reasonable lift pass prices. Some note that the food can be a bit expensive, and the trail selection is limited for advanced skiers.
"I arrived at Kurohime Kogen Snow Park about an hour and a half before closing with hopes of fitting in a couple of runs at the end of the day. It was extremely easy to buy a lift pass, and for quite a reasonable price, as well (I payed ¥3,800 for a 3 hour pass). Though there were only a handful of runs to choose from, all of the ones that I tried were very enjoyable. They ranged in how challenging and long they were, but I was able to hit every course at least once in that span of two hours. While some might argue that there isn’t so much to do at this snow park, I thought the experience was more than satisfying enough for me. I thought all the runs were perfect in length (about 4-8 minutes each) surrounded by wonderful scenery. Not to mention, the slopes were nearly empty this time of year!
All the lift staff were very friendly and generous, with one even allowing me to ride just as it was preparing to close. At the end of my runs, I stopped at the little restaurant at the bottom of the slopes for a refreshment, and the one lady working there on Christmas was very friendly, too.
If you’re in the area, I definitely recommend making a stop at Kurohime Kogen Snow Park. Fantastic fun on the slopes, and the view from the top is worth the price of admission alone!"

"Really cute mountain slope where you can bring your doggies to ride. Doggie watching is also fun! Simple short slopes with a few intermediates at the top."

"Had a wonderful time.
Nice base area with cafeteria. Reasonable rates. Nice high speed detachable quad. Good for beginners. Not very many trails. Awesome section for dogs to ski! They can take lifts!"
