What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Grinpa offers a unique blend of themed attractions like Ultraman and Sylvanian Families, set against the stunning backdrop of Mt. Fuji. While many families enjoy the rides and charming villages, some visitors note that maintenance could be improved and that it can be pricey with limited options for very young children. Cash is essential, and clear views of Mt. Fuji are weather-dependent.
"Quite disappointed. Came there for sylvanian family. Only see some toys exhibit inside the museum or school. The real size green house was closed for maintenance. Otherwise the place was poorly maintained . Pavements were dirty and broken. It took a long way to drive up the hill to get the park. Totally wasted my time!"

"Have Yen ¥ on you they do not take card. It is a little bit over priced and there is maybe 2 things that a child under 3 years old can do. Great for kids 6-10 years old. Bring your own drinks, lunch, and snacks. Today we tried the soft cream it was not that tasty. The ultra man bento box wasn’t too bad but seemed to be cooked in the same old oil. If you or your children love Ultraman or Sylvain Rabbits then you will enjoy this park even more.
Getting their have ¥520 for toll road to enter and ¥1200 for parking. Buy your tickets online or from convenient store prior to coming for discount tickets."

"The kids ages 3-6 and adults enjoyed the amusement park. When we went the park was mostly empty so it was nice to let the kids run around freely. The only restaurant opened was the ultraman food court. They mostly had noodles and on a hot day that's not what we wanted to eat. The fried rice was good though. The giant ferris wheel provided excellent views. All the rides were so much fun. We bought the day pass which means you don't have to pay for each ride in addition to the entrance fee. It would've been more practical if we got there earlier but the relaxed atmosphere was worth it. Unfortunately no English map. Gotta check the schedule too because sometimes they close the rides periodically during the day."
