【仏生山温泉 Busshozan Onsen】 This is a hot spring facility that I stopped at on my way back from Konpira Shrine. After running up many stone stairs and sweating in the intense heat, I decided to take a hot spring bath and remembered this place that I had read in a magazine. The facility was designed by architect Shohei Oka, who also designed Yugawara Soyu, a hot spring facility in Yugawara that I visit...

"nice and simple design with attention to detail, 2 outside baths and one inside bath, very spacious, you have to use your own towel, you can eat at a very nice and affordable restaurant right after. we recommend shaved ice cream as a dessert, very unique!"

"It’s about 10 min walk from the nearest station.

As I brought my own towel, the entrance fee was 700 yen which I felt was really worth it for the facilities provided, like shampoo / bath soap / showers, they also had indoor and outdoor Onsen (of which 1 of the outdoor Onsen was a cold bath).

Love it ❤️ staff were friendly too. It’s a great place if you need a mini retreat to read your books, write a diary. They have a cafe and restaurant, and a small space that sells snacks like nuts."

"The Mog Champ sends his regards.

Busshozan Onsen was the best looking onsen I searched up when I was in Takamatsu in June. I really needed a good wash since it was a hot day and had a long climb in the morning!

I took the train to Busshozan station and walked about 10 mins to the onsen here. It looks like a nice modern onsen which could be enjoyed by anyone.

After having a nice wash I enjoyed cooling down in the rest area along with a few bottles of extremely nice tasting milk, I'm not usually a big fan of milk too! But gotta get in that calcium am I right?! Thanks for the experience Busshozan Onsen.

Mogliest Regards,
Your Mog Champ"
