Reviews Summary

Utarube Lakeside Campground is celebrated for its stunning lake views, incredibly friendly and helpful staff, and peaceful atmosphere. Visitors love the cozy cabins, on-site amenities like coin showers and a shop, and unique activities such as canoeing. However, some guests have experienced issues with limited space during peak times, emphasizing the need for advance reservations.

"Great location and service. The office manager was very helpful and it was a great place to camp. My issue is that we reserved didn't have enough room for 3 people. Everyone who got there ahead of us took up more space than they needed or positioned their campsites in locations that minimized available spots for others to set up. We made it work but there were others that came after who couldn't manage to find space and it seemed like they had to leave."

"For me this is a must stay if you are camping japan! The staff where extremely friendly, kind and accommodating. They have coin showers here and vending machine for drinks, the camp shop also has a selection of food items, snacks and some very good beer named after the campgrounds that I can recommend. I stayed here 2 night and it was for me one of the best camping experience! The views are amazing and lots of places to take a swim to cool off on a hot summer day"

"Such an amazing place! The owner is a very friendly person and there's a nice little shop with some camping gear, snacks and beautiful stickers. The coin showers are a plus after a long day of biking and there are washing machines. But the best part is the view over the lake! No better view to wake up to :)"
