"​During a recent stay at Awana Genting, I found the accommodations to be quite spacious and comfortable. The room was generously sized and came equipped with two queen-sized beds, which was a huge plus for our group. A notable and very helpful feature was the in-room climate control, which included both a ceiling fan and an air conditioning unit. This was especially useful at night, as the temperature at this elevation wasn't as cool as some of the hotels closer to the peak, and the A/C ensured a comfortable sleep.
​For guests traveling by car, the hotel provides a multi-storey parking facility. It's a convenient option, but do note that there is a chargeable rate of RM5 per entry. To get this rate, you must remember to validate your card at the front desk.
​In terms of location, Awana Genting is situated a little further down from the main attractions. If you're planning to visit the Genting Highlands Premium Outlet or the mall at the top, be prepared to drive down and make a turn back at the roundabout. While not the most direct route, the drive is manageable, and the hotel provides a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the peak. Overall, the large room and reliable climate control made for a very pleasant stay."

"Came for family vacation (me, wifey and my 2 child). Booked standard room with breakfast. Provided with 2 queen bed.
The sceneries from terrace was breathtaking. TV was functioning well..

"We booked the Villa Room (VIP Golf Suite) which came with 2 Queen beds and was spacious enough to accommodate my husband, myself, and my elderly parents. The room was easy to access, which was important since both of my parents require wheelchairs.

The overall atmosphere was calm and relaxing, especially during sunset when we could sit at the field and enjoy the view together with other guests.

However, there are several areas that I was not satisfied with:

1. Check-in/Check-out Tax Confusion
I had already paid the RM6 Pahang tax for two nights during check-in. However, during checkout, the lady with glasses insisted on deducting RM3 from my wheelchair deposit, saying it was for the tax. This shows that their system does not have a proper record, and it was quite disappointing.

2. Parking for Disabled Guests
When we dropped off my elderly parents, none of the staff informed us that there was a designated parking area for wheelchair users. There were empty lots available, yet we noticed luxury cars occupying those wheelchair-marked spaces instead. This was very unfair and showed a lack of enforcement by the staff.

3. Restaurant Service for Elderly Guests
The staffs at the dining area were not attentive towards elderly guests in wheelchairs. My husband and I had to manage everything on our own, moving chairs and arranging the tables so that my parents could sit comfortably. No staff member stepped forward to assist, even when it was clear that we were struggling. We had booked the Villa Club Room, which should have given us access to the special dining area, but unfortunately, that space was too cramped and unsuitable for two wheelchairs.

Overall, while the Villa Room was comfortable and the surroundings were peaceful, the lack of proper support and consideration for wheelchair users made our stay less enjoyable than it could have been. Resorts World Awana should improve staffs awareness and facilities for elderly and disabled guests."
